welcome to inis dóchas! a massive fictional island with over 20,000 square miles of habitable land, located somewhere inbetween scotland, ireland, and iceland.

 

this island has a sparse population of humans that have chosen to put down roots, in which the lack of large-scale settlements has allowed wildlife of all kinds to flourish in this peaceful land; both with and without human aid.

alongside the few towns, scattered villages, and homesteads. there are a good amount of privately-owned protected areas ranging from farmlands to natural reserves.

the island's general geography consists of moorlands, mountains, fjords, forests, plains, highlands, taigas, and more within a mixed oceanic-subarctic climate.
